Many more people than usual are drawn to come to church to celebrate this greatest Christian feast of Easter. Something seems to draw us. We pay attention to a tug in our heart that says it is important to gather with other believers on this holy day. This intuition of faith speaks to the presence of the Risen Christ and the Holy Spirit at work in our hearts.
Today we pray in part, “that we who keep this solemnity of the Lord’s resurrection may, through the renewal brought by your Spirit, rise up in the light of life.” St. Paul tells us today: “If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.”
On this glorious Easter Day pay attention to what draws you. Go in the direction of such divine promptings today and every day.
Easter blessings of peace and joy to you and your loved ones!
