Let us pray now for all those who hope for life: for ourselves, for our friends and neighbors, and for people throughout the world.
For all members of the Church, may they believe ever more firmly and live ever more fully the mystery of Jesus who gives himself to us as the Bread of Life, we pray:
For world leaders: that the Holy Spirit will guide them in promoting justice and understanding so that poverty and discrimination may be reduced, we pray:
For those who are hungry. May they have their needs satisfied and may we strive to feed the poor, the homeless, the immigrant in our midst, we pray:
For a transformation of our minds and hearts: that God will free us from all bitterness and anger as we allow ourselves to be guided by the Holy Spirit each day, we pray:
For all who gather to partake of the Eucharist, may we be reconciled to one another in God’s grace, we pray:
For those who are ill and have asked for our prayers, including Kristina Helgado, Randy Bedard, May they find comfort and healing, through God’s love, we pray:
For those who have died, may they share in the heavenly banquet and experience the peace and joy of God’s kingdom, we pray:
God of life: you give us your Son as living bread, that we may have life with you forever. Hear our prayers for our own needs, for all who are hungry and for all who yearn for life. We pray in the name of your Son, Jesus, the bread of life. Amen.
