Are you concerned about persons impacted by homelessness, the high cost of rent, and the scarcity of affordable or supportive housing? Do you want to understand these issues from a variety of perspectives – and make a difference?

Then join us for one or more discussions on Statewide Housing Issues and Solutions! We will use 3 parts of the Joint Religious Legislative Coalition’s (JRLC) Housing Webinar Series. The series is designed for social concerns and justice volunteers, people of faith, and community partners to increase understanding and action to prevent and end homelessness. Learn more about JRLC here: https://jrlc.org/
Each session will meet from 6:30-8pm in the Bays at Risen Savior and will include viewing a recorded presentation from JRLC, followed by about 30 minutes of discussion in the group.
February 1st: The Big Picture of Minnesota Housing: Stability and Affordability
February 8th: Homelessness: Understanding Impact, Creating Opportunities
February 15th: Racial Equity and Housing
On February 22nd, staff from JRLC will give a talk “No More Poor Among You: Advocating for a More Just Minnesota” at neighboring parish, St. John Neumann from 7-8:30pm in their Social Hall. All are welcome.
