Birthday Cards for Incarcerated Residents (evening group)

One small piece of mail has the power to brighten a person’s entire week!

Risen Savior partners with Twin Cities Prison Ministry and Affirming You to send birthday cards to incarcerated residents each month. You may be intimidated by this idea given the stigma associated with incarceration. Yet, our loving God reminds us that each person—no matter his or her background—is a beloved child of God.

You do not share any personal information with the residents, apart from your first name OR a pseudonym. Cards and postage are provided. New volunteers always welcome! Training provided.

Our evening group typically meets on the 1st Tuesday of even months from 7-8pm in the Bays.
