All married couples: the Cana Dinner is a great opportunity to take some time out of your busy lives to focus on each other as a couple and to celebrate your marriage!

To change things up a bit for 2018, we've invited Paul & Nancy Lee Gauche to talk about marriage; the expectations, the reality, The Dance of Marriage and Keeping In Step Through The Last Song

Paul and Nancy Lee have been married for 35 years. Both are ELCA Lutheran Pastors who have invested in pre-marriage and marriage work as a significant part of their ministry. Paul's most recent publication, which you will be able to purchase for $15 at the Cana Dinner, is The Dance of Marriage: Keeping In Step Through The Last Song. Paul is the Life Transition Pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, and Nancy Lee is pastor and teacher at Luther Seminary in St. Paul. Paul and Nancy Lee are grateful for their two grown children; their son, Soren, their daughter, Sarah and her husband Travis, and three beautiful granddaughters, Ruby Grace, Ryann Mae, and Emily Joyce. Shelbui, the wonder dog, keeps the Gauches good company!

Risen Savior's Fr. Tom Krenik will lead the prayer service again, which will mainly focus on the renewal of marriage vows. The prayer service will be enhanced by beautiful music, which always adds a very special touch.

As for the dinner, Rudy's Red Eye Grill is offering a buffet this time. It'll consist of:

Caesar Salad - Freshly Sliced Fruit - Freshly Baked Dinner Rolls with Butter - Caramelized Green Beans - Cheddar Cheese Crusted Mashed Potatoes - Roasted Rosemary New Potatoes - Slow Roasted Pork Loin topped with the Chef's Fresh Citrus Salsa and Bourbon Glaze - Signature Pan Fried Walleye served with Tartar Sauce and Lemon - Assorted Cheesecakes

DJ Keith (from DJ Sound Systems) will be back for the dance party with his most popular play list, and, of course, he'll be ready to take your song requests.

Wine and beer will be served; the cash bar will be open throughout the evening.

You'll have a great time, and chances are, you might not want to drive home after the event. No problem! Plan to make the Cana Dinner your mini-vacation!
