What is MOMS Connect?
Our Mission: To provide a supportive, nonjudgmental, and encouraging environment to moms as we help each other live out our call to create faith-filled families.
MOMS Connect is a group of moms that usually meets on the first Tuesday of each month from October-May at 7-8:30pm to discuss a variety of topics about motherhood using a faith-based curriculum. MOMS Connect is affiliated with our MOMS ministry here at Risen Savior.
We meet in Resurrection Hall (downstairs at Risen Savior) unless otherwise noted. At this time, we are unsure if childcare will be available. If you have questions, please contact the Moms Leaders at risensaviormoms@gmail.com.
Annual membership fee is $20.00. This covers the cost of books and other materials. (Scholarships are available upon request.)
Schedule for 2022-2023
Starting November 2022, we will be using the curriculum “Momnipotent” from Ascension Press. It includes conversation, reflection, brief video segments, and community!
*October 4th @ 7pm in the Bays: “Everyday Sacrament: Celebrating the Sacraments at Home” talk with speaker/author Laura Kelly Fannuci (Click here for the event page. This is open to the whole parish.)
November 8th @ 7:00p.m.: Why You Are “Momnipotent”
December 6th @ 7pm: Christmas Party
February 7th @ 7:00p.m.: The Power of Purpose
March 7th @ 7:00p.m.: The Power of Purpose (rescheduled from February!)
April 4th @ 7:00p.m.: Risen Savior MOMS Lenten Service Project
May 2nd @ 7:00p.m.: Free to Be You
*May 30th @ 7:00p.m.: End-of Year Celebration (Location TBD)
