Verizon Tower Update
We have been notified that Verizon will not be scheduling the construction work on the Bell Tower until Spring of 2014. The delay is primarily due to the length of time still needed to complete the remaining site documentation and construction bidding process.
We were anticipating ground breaking to occur this Fall, however the last few regulatory approvals needed for the new location at the northeast side of the building had not been finalized as of our last meeting with the consultants on the project. Since Verizon will not begin the bid letting process until all required approvals and documentation is in place, we were informed that construction will need to wait until next construction season.
