Prayers of the Faithful for June 20 & 21, 2015

We now present our many needs and concerns to God, whose love is everlasting.

For Archbishop Bernard Hebda as he begins his ministry in our archdiocese during this time of transition, we pray:

For those who struggle with chaos, especially the poor and marginalized and those living in violence or war, we pray:

For a calming of the storms in our lives: that God will sustain us through the challenges of each day, give us courage to make decisions, and enduring hope when we cannot foresee tomorrow, we pray:

We pray with Ada Moser, Jake Lin Roen, Rosemarie Mazola,  Aubrie Lyn Dahl, Abigail Jo Christensen, and Kyler Nagano and their families, as today, through Baptism, they begin their Christian journey of faith, we pray:

For all fathers and those who have shown the Father’s love to us: that God will make them beacons of light, sources of encouragement and grant them peace and health, we pray:

For those who are ill and have asked for our prayers, especially, Dorothy and Bernie Bongard, Erlinda Dilan,  may they find healing, strength, and peace of mind through God’s love, we pray:

For those who have died, especially Kathleen Zimmerman Winkel, the sister of John Zimmerman; may they be forever held in the loving arms of God, we pray:

Presider: Redeeming God, uphold us in the love of Christ that we may venture on the wider sea that leads to the glory of your reign, where Jesus is Lord forever and ever. Amen
