Open Door Pantry Mobile Lunch Box

Open Door Pantry Mobile Lunch Box

The Mobile Lunch Box program addresses child hunger during the summer when students are not in school and able to access free and reduced meal program. The Mobile Lunch Box bus brings free healthy brown bag lunches to neighborhoods throughout Dakota County. Volunteers help serve lunch, interact with kids, distribute take-home food bags and clean up.

Risen Savior has committed to providing 3-5 volunteers to assist on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to Noon at Cedar Knolls Park (12571 Garland Avenue, Apple Valley). Volunteers will help serve the lunch, distribute food for the children to bring home, and assist with clean-up at the end of the volunteer shift. The most important gift the volunteer shares, though, is their presence!

Fill out and submit the online form below if you would like to volunteer or would like more information, or you can also contact Scott Brazil directly.
