Registration is Now Open for Faith Builds
June 17-19, 2019
Risen Savior will participate in the new “Faith Builds” initiative, which will develop nine home sites in the Willow Reserve area of St. Paul. We are scheduled to volunteer Monday, June 17 through Wednesday, June 19, providing 15-18 volunteers to work from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day. In addition, our parish community will make a financial contribution of $4500.00 to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity which we will invite everyone, whether they are participating in the building project or not, to consider supporting. We will participate in a new construction project located at 433 Maryland Avenue in Saint Paul. Click here to download an information sheet for this site. No previous construction experience is required. To participate, you simply need to be:
18 years of age (or ages 16-17 with a parent).
Available for the entire day (8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) Click here to learn more about what a typical day on the worksite looks like.
Willing to give 100% of yourself during the time you are onsite.
Able to get to and from the site, whether by your own transportation or via carpool that you arrange (Risen Savior cannot arrange car pools due to insurance reasons).
Also, please note that participants need to bring their own lunch and water bottle with them to the site. A mid-afternoon snack will be provided by Risen Savior staff.
