Paris to Pittsburgh – Free Film Screening and Discussion at Risen Savior
Wednesday, September 11, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Over 100 cities, 6 states, and Puerto Rico have set goals to match the Paris Climate Accord, committing to 100 percent renewable energy. You can learn about their important stories in a free screening of Paris to Pittsburgh, a National Geographic film exploring the inspiring ways Americans are battling the severe threats of climate change in their own backyards. From coastlines to the midwest, the film features the cities, states, businesses, and citizens taking action to slow the social and economic impacts of climate change-fueled disasters.
This is a free event and all ages are welcome. This event is sponsored by InterFaith Creation Care South Metro (ICCSM) which is a cooperative effort by Creation Care stewards from eleven faith communities in the south metro to seek a faith-based approach to responsible care for the planet.
