Members volunteer to set up, clean up, and bring treats.

Risen Savior has infant baptisms approximately once per month either during weekend Masses or on Sunday at 12:30 pm.
Parents asking for Baptism for their infants are required to take a two-hour preparation class. Risen Savior offers these classes on the first Monday of every month from 7-9 pm. Topics such as “The Rite of Baptism”, “Symbols of Baptism” and “Godparents”, are discussed.
Child care is always provided during Baptism class sessions.
Volunteers have to be confirmed, practicing Catholics. Extensive training is provided. In addition to the training, couples also co-teach with an experienced leader couple once before leading a class by themselves.
Time commitment: 1st Monday of every other month from 7-9 pm.

Volunteer married couples mentor engaged couples utilizing a pre-marriage inventory called PREPARE. The volunteer couple meets in their home with 2-3 engaged couples during the calendar year.
Training and support are provided.
Time commitment: Two years, then negotiable after that.

Emmaus is a one-time retreat experience where women gather to be ministered to by other Risen Savior women. For women who wish to experience God, renew and deepen their relationship with the Lord, this is a time for personal growth. The women arrive on Friday night closed off and wary but leave Sunday afternoon with their hearts open to the Lord. The fellowship and friendships created at the retreat are shared at monthly coffees, twice a year dinners, and simply finding familiar faces at Mass. Emmaus is not only at Risen Savior, St. John Neumann was the first Twin Cities parish to host an retreat. The retreat is based on the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35.
2 Emmaus women volunteers needed after each Mass September -October to help future Emmaus women sign up for the upcoming retreat.
Where and when is it held: Our retreats are held the third weekend in October at the Franciscan Retreat Center in Prior Lake, MN.
