NOTICE: Due to concerns around COVID-19/coronavirus, Loaves and Fishes has changed their format to “take-out” only as of 3/16/2020. Volunteers are still needed to prepare the meals from 2-7p.m. but not to serve the meals.
We feed the hungry in our midst by supporting Loaves and Fishes, an independent, nonprofit organization that serves a hot evening meal to hungry families and individuals in various Twin Cities locations.
Risen Savior has an ongoing, regular commitment at Holy Rosary Church in Minneapolis (3rd Thursday of Every Month). Located at 2424 18th Avenue South in Minneapolis. Each month, a team of 4-5 volunteers cooks and packages the meals in to-go containers that clients pick up at a curbside table. Volunteers do not have client interaction.
