RCIA is a program for adults who wish to become a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church. Participants prepare with a sponsor and are Baptized, receive Eucharist and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil.
RCIA Sponsors may feel a renewed sense of their Catholic identity, develop new friendships and increase their knowledge of their faith as they work with their RCIA candidate.
Sponsor training is provided
All Catholic adults are welcome to volunteer as an RCIA. Sponsor or RCIA Team Member
Time Commitment: Weekly meetings from September through April for about 2 hours each evening
