The Youth Ministry Advisory Committee is a group of people who care deeply about young people in the 6-12th grades. They help to guide the Youth Ministry program here at Risen Savior and will also be instrumental in helping to create the vision for Youth Ministry within our parish.
The YMAC is being formed to assist in creating a Vision for Youth Ministry, to advise on potential retreats or events, to provide help in creating strategies to engage parents and parishioners, and help brainstorm ways to help our young people stay engaged in their faith.
We plan on having monthly meetings for the foreseeable future. There may be opportunities to reduce the number of meetings in the future but for now we plan to meet monthly to make sure we continue to make progress.
Upcoming Meeting Dates
- TBD
Requirements To Be Part Of The Youth Ministry Advisory Committee?
- People 20 years or older
- Must care about 6-12th graders
- Be able to attend monthly meetings
- You don’t have to have a child in the 6-12th grades (We’d love to have a wide range of people and experiences. For this reason we would love to have people with kids who’ve already gone through the Youth Ministry program or who will be going into the Youth Ministry program in the coming years.)
