Prayers of the Faithful for June 23 & 24, 2018

Let us pray for all who are called to point others toward Jesus and for those who hear this message.

That our church may be a light of God’s love and compassion for the human family, we pray:

That the “coastlands” and “distant peoples” of the world may one day be gathered in justice and peace before God, we pray:

That the poor, sick, troubled, and oppressed may be restored to health and wholeness through the love of Christ, we pray:

That God will guide our youth who leave for their mission trip to Arkansas on July 14. May they have a safe journey, learn from those they visit, and use their gifts fully in their generous service to others, we pray:

That all who gather at this Eucharistic feast be reconciled with one another in God’s boundless grace, we pray:

That those who are ill and have asked for our prayers including Cyndi St. John and Sharon Boeckmon. May find comfort in the healing touch of God and by the loving care of family and friends, we pray:

That those who have died especially Coo Vang, the husband of Angelica Vang; may be forever held in the loving arms of God, we pray:

God, who knows and calls us through baptism, we pray that we may be faithful and courageous witnesses to your Son, Jesus. Like John, we can make him known to those who do not yet know him. We pray this through Christ our Lord. Amen
