Get ready for an extraordinary Risen Savior Fall Fest—a joyful celebration of family, friendship, and community! Bring your family and friends for an afternoon and evening filled with fun activities, delicious food, lively entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to connect with one another and make wonderful memories.

There will be something for everyone! Children can enjoy an afternoon packed with exciting games, piñatas, and the Giant Slide, while our Glitter Tattoo Booth adds a little extra sparkle to the festivities. Adults and families can test their luck at Bingo, enjoy great food and refreshments, and cheer on the Minnesota Vikings as they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game will be shown on screens in the Bays, so you won't have to miss a moment of the action!

As the afternoon continues, we'll gather together for a delicious meal featuring an assortment of favorite foods prepared and served by Risen Savior and the Knights of Columbus. And then get ready for an evening of fantastic musical entertainment featuring Kevin Rotty and Sweet Keys Dueling Pianos! Their high-energy performance is sure to have the crowd singing along, laughing, and enjoying every minute. No tickets are needed for the musical entertainment!

Whether you're coming for the kids' activities, Bingo, football, great food, or live music—or simply to spend time with friends and fellow parishioners—the Risen Savior Fall Fest promises to be an event you won't want to miss. Fall Fest Schedule

2:30–4:30 p.m. | Kids' Games (1 ticket/game)

The fun begins with plenty of activities for our youngest guests! Children can enjoy a variety of games, including piñatas and the Giant Slide. It's sure to be an afternoon filled with laughter, excitement, and fun for kids of all ages. See schedule details below:

Each game requires tickets. Tickets are $.25/each and can be purchased on the day of the Fall Fest at the black desk in the commons and in Resurrection Hall at the ticket station at the bottom of the stairs. No advance ticket sale. Tickets are valid on September 27 only. You may redeem unused tickets for cash  back on September 27 only until 5:30 p.m.; this can be done at the ticket stations.

Two trained volunteers will run and supervise the children’s games. Children will receive child-size canvas totes to collect their prizes. Check this out:

  • Ring Toss (1 ticket*); 1 game = 3 throws, (best of 3). Toss a glow ring onto a juice bottle and win the drink. (Dorothy Day Room)
  • Corn Hole Toss #1 (1 ticket*); 1 game = 3 throws, (best of 3). Toss a bean bag into the hole on the corn hole board and win a mini toy bear. (Library)
  • Corn Hole Toss #2 (1 ticket*); 1 game = 3 throws, (best of 3). Toss a bean bag into the hole on the corn hole board; win a prize. (Hallway by Library)
  • Putt-putt Minigolf (1 ticket*);1 game = 3 putts, (best of 3). Hit your golf ball into the cup; win a prize. (Oscar Romero Room)
  • Cookie Walk (1 ticket*); walk on numbers while music plays. When the music stops, children stop on numbers. Adult draws a number; whoever is standing on this number, wins cookies. (Nursery 1)
  • Go Fishing (1 ticket*); child throws fishing pole line with clothes pin over nursery half door. Volunteer attaches toy sea life creature to clothes pin and tugs on the line. The child pulls the line back over the nursery half door to “catch” the prize. (Nursery 2)
  • Piñatas (1 ticket*); break apart piñata for candy. (Youth Room)
    • To keep all children safe, there will be two time slots for this game:
    • 2:30-3:30 p.m.: children under 7 years
    • 3:30-4:30 p.m.: children 7 years and older
  • Giant Rock Climb Slide (1 ticket*); (Youth Room)
    • To keep all children safe, there will be two time slots for the Giant Rock Climb Slide:
    • 2:30-3:30 p.m.: children under 7 years
    • 3:30-4:30 p.m.: children 7 years and older
  • Axe Throw, safe, plastic (1 ticket*); 1 game = 3 throws, (best of 3). (Main building entrance, outside).:
    • To keep all children safe, there will be two time slots for the Axe Throw:
    • 2:30-3:30 p.m..: children under 7 years
    • 3:30-4:30 p.m.: children 7 years and older

2:30–4:30 p.m. | Glitter Tattoo Booth (4 tickets)

We're delighted to welcome Jen Rotty back again this year with her popular Glitter Tattoo Booth! Jen, along with an additional glitter tattoo artist, will be stationed in the Commons Area, ready to add some colorful sparkle to the Fall Fest fun.

2:30–4:30 p.m. | Bingo (1 ticket/card)

Try your luck and join the Risen Savior Knights of Columbus for an exciting Bingo game! Bingo will be held downstairs in Resurrection Hall. Come enjoy the friendly competition and see if you can take home a cash prize!

2:30 p.m.–TBD | Vikings Football Game on Screens (no ticket needed!)

Football fans won't have to miss the action! The Minnesota Vikings take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the game will be shown on screens in the Bays. Grab some friends, settle in, and cheer on the Vikings! GO VIKINGS!

2:30–8:30 p.m. | Full Cash Bar

New this year! We're pleased to offer a full cash bar from 2:30–8:30 p.m., featuring beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages.

5:00–6:00 p.m. | Fall Fest Food (no tickets needed!)

Come hungry! Risen Savior, the Knights of Columbus and the Latino Knights of Columbus will serve a delicious assortment of Fall Fest favorites, including:

  • Hot dogs and brats
  • Tacos and all the fixings
  • Potato salad
  • Baked beans
  • Chips
  • Chicharrones
  • A variety of desserts

All food will be set up and served in Resurrection Hall. Enjoy your meal with family and friends while taking in the festive atmosphere.

5:30–6:30 p.m. | Musical Entertainment (no tickets needed!)

The music gets underway as we continue the celebration with live musical entertainment. Relax, visit with friends, and enjoy the sounds as we transition into an exciting evening of entertainment.

6:30–8:30 p.m. | Sweet Keys Dueling Pianos (no tickets needed!)

The evening culminates with Kevin Rotty and Sweet Keys Dueling Pianos! Get ready for an energetic and entertaining performance filled with great music, audience participation, and plenty of fun.

No tickets needed—just come and enjoy the show!

Fall Fest Tickets

Tickets are $.25 each and will be available for purchase on the day of the Fall Fest only. There will be ticket stations conveniently located in the Commons and in Resurrection Hall at the bottom of the stairs.

There will be NO advance ticket sales.

Please note the following important ticket information:

  • Tickets are valid on September 27 only.
  • Unused tickets may be redeemed on September 27 only, until 5:30 p.m.
  • Tickets cannot be redeemed after 5:30 p.m. on September 27.
  • Tickets must be purchased at the Fall Fest ticket stations.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the resounding success of this year's Fall Fest! It was a truly wonderful event, brimming with joy, laughter, and community spirit. From the enticing games to the delicious food and captivating music, every aspect of the Fall Fest radiated warmth and excitement, creating cherished memories for all who attended. This would not have been possible without the selfless dedication and unwavering support of our incredible volunteers.

The members of the Risen Savior Community Sharing Commission deserve special recognition for their exceptional efforts in planning, organizing, and executing every detail of the Fall Fest. Their vision, meticulous preparation, and tireless commitment were instrumental in bringing this event to life and ensuring its seamless operation.

We also express our sincere appreciation to the Knights of Columbus, under the direction of B.J. Bertram, for their generous donation and masterful grilling of hot dogs and brats, complete with all the essential condiments. Their culinary contribution was a definite highlight, satisfying appetites and bringing smiles to faces throughout the day. Furthermore, the Knights of Columbus, again under the direction of B.J. Bertram, expertly organized the ever-popular Bingo game, providing hours of entertainment and friendly competition.

A special thank you goes to the Latino Knights of Columbus for their culinary artistry in preparing the mouthwatering tacos. Their authentic flavors and culinary expertise added a delightful international flair to the Fall Fest, tantalizing taste buds and enriching the overall experience.

We also extend our gratitude to the Bloomington Knights of Columbus for providing the wine & beer bar, offering a refreshing selection of beverages that complemented the festive atmosphere and added to the enjoyment of the attendees.

Alejandra Renteria deserves a shout-out for organizing the Loteria game, a vibrant and engaging activity that brought people together in a spirit of playful competition and cultural celebration.

Jen & Liza Rotty added a touch of sparkle and creativity with the Glitter Tattoo Booth, delighting children and adults alike with their artistic flair and creating dazzling memories that will last long after the festival.

A heartfelt thank you to Sherwin Pasillos, the Risen Savior Administrator, who expertly managed all financial aspects of the Fall Fest and selflessly pitched in wherever help was needed. His organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile were invaluable to the success of the event.

The enchanting melodies of the Mariachi Band filled the air with vibrant rhythms and cultural richness, creating a festive ambiance that uplifted spirits and inspired joyful celebration and dance.

Sweet Keys Dueling Pianos, featuring the exceptional talents of Kevin Rotty, Nick Milleson, and Andy Beckel, generously donated their time and musical gifts, captivating the audience with their playful banter, skillful performances, and infectious energy. Their tips, thoughtfully donated back to the cause, further amplified their generosity.

We also express our sincere gratitude to Fr. Matthew Malek and Fr. Edwin Ngah for their unwavering support and presence at the Fall Fest, reinforcing the sense of community that is at the heart of Risen Savior.

A special shout-out to the Risen Savior youth who so graciously volunteered their time and energy to assist with the kids' games. Their enthusiasm, patience, and genuine care created a fun and engaging environment for the younger attendees, ensuring that they had a memorable and enjoyable experience.
