This spring, we invite you to join us for four engaging Monday mornings filled with insightful presentations from a diverse array of excellent speakers. Please note an important change: The SALT program will be held at: Grace Lutheran Church, located at 7800 West County Road 42, Apple Valley, MN 55124. This change was made to better accommodate the needs of our SALT audience, providing an enhanced and more comfortable learning environment.

Our SALT program is designed to explore and discover a multitude of topics that cater to your interests and enhance your knowledge. Each session offers a unique opportunity to delve into areas ranging from the wonders of nature and the complexities of history to the profound aspects of religion and personal testimonials. Our carefully curated lineup of speakers brings a wealth of experience and expertise, ensuring that each topic is presented with depth and clarity. Whether you are looking to expand your understanding of the world, engage in stimulating discussions, or simply enjoy the company of like-minded individuals, the SALT program is an excellent choice for your fall learning journey. The Grace Lutheran Church facility offers ample parking, accessible facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it easier than ever to participate in our engaging sessions.

$10 per person per Monday. Buy a Season Pass and Save: $35 per person for all four Mondays for the season!

The cost for the SALT sessions is $10 per person per Monday.

We are offering a “Season Pass” for $35 per person, which covers all four SALT Mondays. You purchase the “Season Pass” at the first SALT session of the season for $35/person, and you are good to go for the following three Mondays. No refunds for missed sessions.

Pay with cash or checks made out to Seniors Learning Together. 

For all newcomers, here’s what the SALT schedule looks like each Monday:

  • 9:30-10:30 a.m.: first two programs (one in the worship space/Sanctuary, one in the hall).
  • 10:30-11:00 a.m.: coffee/cookie break in the lobby and in the narthex.
  • 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (Noon): second two programs (one in the worship space/Sanctuary, one in the hall).

Discover enriching learning opportunities with SALT (Seniors Learning Together, Inc.), a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing engaging educational experiences. While primarily serving individuals over 55 and sponsored by a coalition of churches in Dakota County, our program warmly welcomes participants of all ages.

SALT offers stimulating sessions held on four consecutive Mondays each Spring and Fall. We strive to cater to diverse interests by scheduling four distinct presentations on various subjects each day, with two speakers per hour. Participants have the flexibility to choose one session to attend during each hour. The first session runs from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a 30-minute refreshment break. The second session then takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

SALT is designed to make enrichment learning both enjoyable and accessible. Our life enrichment presentations are offered in an engaging format, free from the pressure of questions or tests. It is simply an opportunity to expand your understanding of the world around us.
