Prayers of the Faithful for May 26 & 27, 2018

Presider:

In confidence we pray for our needs to the Triune God who chooses to share divine life with us.

Lector:

For unity in the Church: that we may recognize our call to be children of God, be united in communion through the Holy Spirit and encourage one another as we follow God’s call in our lives, we pray:

For unity in our world: that God will open new pathways for dialogue so that all may live in peace, we pray:

For unity in our community: that we may appreciate the wonder of each person and work together to address the needs and longings of all who enter our lives, we pray:

For unity in our families: that the love which is the Trinity may strengthen and renew each of us and deepen our love for one another, we pray:

For unity with God in each of our hearts: for openness to God’s love; that we may allow God to bring us into the life of the Trinity and to deepen a relationship with us, we pray:

On this Memorial Day, let us pray for those who lost their lives in war, for those in danger today, and for families and friends who care about them, we pray:

For those who are ill and have asked for our prayers including Barb Kachnowicz and Billie Rivers. May they find comfort in the healing touch of God and by the loving care of family and friends, we pray:

For all who mourn the death of a loved one especially Delia Roehl, the sister of Fr. Gene Pouliot and Koo Vang. May all who have died be forever held in the loving arms of God, we pray:

Presider:

Gracious God, pour the Spirit of love into our hearts that we may be united to Christ and to each other in the bond of peace. We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
