Habitat Build

June 24, 25, and 26, 2024

This summer Risen Savior will partner again with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to help build a new home in Farmington on 621 Elm Street, from June 24-26, 2024. This will be a new construction build.

Each day we will need 15 construction crew volunteers. We are also in need of one volunteer photographer each day, volunteers to pick up and deliver coffee each morning, and volunteers to pick up the catered lunch and bring it to the worksite. If you aren’t able to make it to the worksite in those capacities, we take donations of snacks, fruit, and beverages for our construction volunteers.

There are many ways to get involved, whether or not you’d like to join the construction crew! We have online sign-ups below and will take in-person sign-ups after Masses the weekends of June 8 & 9, June 15 & 16, and June 22 & 23. NOTE: there has been a date change in the sign-up weekends from previously published articles. The above three weekends are the correct in-person sign-up dates!

Monetary donations for Habitat are also essential and GREATLY appreciated. You may donate toward our pledge of $4,500, which Habitat uses for our construction materials.

You may also donate via cash, check, or credit card on the days of in-person sign-ups, or just drop a check into any Sunday Mass collection on any weekend before the build. Please issue checks to "Risen Savior" with "Habitat" in the memo section.
