Some of you may have already received a letter from Archbishop Hebda about the Catholic Services Appeal. The theme identified for this year, 2024, is: Giving is Faith in Action.
We are called to take our faith seriously by putting it into action, and there are certainly many ways in which we can do this. In the end, the most important thing is that we do so by following the examples set by Jesus.
In the materials you received from the Archdiocese you will note the many ministries that your generous gift will support through this appeal. These are all worthy causes and so it is truly essential that we help our Archbishop fulfill his mission and, together, put our faith into action.
Our parish has identified the first weekend in March, i.e. March 2 & 3, as in-pew kick-off weekend for all Masses. Envelopes will be collected during Mass. You may also opt to send the envelopes directly to the Archdiocese. Another way of giving is by scanning the QR code printed on the posters displayed in our commons area and in the parish bulletin.
For anyone who has not received any communications from the Archdiocese you are most welcome to avail yourself of the materials and envelopes from our parish office.
Your support and generosity is highly appreciated.
