Prayers of the Faithful – August 10 & 11, 2024
Presider:
Trusting in God’s compassion and care, let us bring our prayers before the Lord.
Lector:
- For leaders of nations, that they may act with compassion and justice, providing for the needs of their people and fostering peace. We pray to the Lord.

- For our parish community, that we may embody kindness and forgiveness, following Paul’s call to live in love as Christ loved us. We pray to the Lord.
- For an end to the escalating hostilities in the Middle East, that peace and understanding may prevail, and that all affected by the violence find safety, comfort, and healing. We pray to the Lord.
- For the sick and suffering in our community, including: Eileen France, and Marg Yurczyk, mother of Ann Caspers For all who suffer, we pray to the Lord:
- For those who have died, especially Thomas Mazanec. That God may welcome them to new eternal life and ease the loss of those who grieve their passing, we pray to the Lord:

Loving God, hear our prayers and transform our lives with Your grace and compassion. Help us to trust in Your care and to share Your love with others. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
