Minneapolis Loaves and Fishes Volunteering

Risen Savior has had a team of volunteers serve a meal with Loaves and Fishes at Holy Rosary Church (2424 18th Ave S, Minneapolis) faithfully for over 20 years! Our team prepares and serves a meal on the 3rd Thursday of each month. They offer curbside and dine-in options. Every month they serve over 275 people. Risen Savior has a lead volunteer who is in charge of planning the meals.

Right now, the team is looking for extra volunteers to serve as substitutes. If you're interested in volunteering, please fill out the form below or contact Grace Koleczek, Social Justice & Adult Faith Formation Coordinator at [email protected] or 952-698-1724!

Volunteers are needed in 2 shifts:

  • From 2-5pm to help prepare and package the meals
  • From 5-7:30pm to distribute the meals to curbside customers and clean up
