Prayers of the Faithful – April 13 & 14, 2024
Presider:
Knowing that Jesus still stands among us, we lay before him our prayers for ourselves, for others and for the world.
Reader:
- For the Church, that we may boldly proclaim the message of Christ’s resurrection and inspire others to encounter the transforming love of Jesus, we pray to the Lord:
- For world leaders, that they may work together for peace and justice, seeking solutions to conflicts and addressing the needs of the most vulnerable in society, we pray to the Lord:
- For those who are suffering in mind, body, or spirit, that they may experience the healing presence of Christ and find comfort in the support of their community, we pray to the Lord:
- For our parish community, that we may be united in love and service, supporting one another as we live out our call to be disciples of Christ, we pray to the Lord:
- For the sick and suffering in our community, including: Fr. Steve Adrian, and Patrick Klemisch. For all who suffer, we pray to the Lord:
- For those who have died. May they find comfort in God’s love, we pray to the Lord:
Presider:
Loving God, as we conclude our prayers, we entrust to you all our intentions. Grant us the grace to be faithful witnesses to the resurrection of your Son, Strengthen us to live as disciples who bring hope, healing, and reconciliation to the world. We ask this through Christ our Lord. AMEN
