Presider:

With humility and trust in the God who lifts up the lowly, let us bring our prayers before the Lord.

Lector:

  • For the Church, that we may lead with humility and serve without seeking recognition, we pray to the Lord.
  • For leaders of nations, that they may put aside pride and work for justice, peace, and the dignity of all, we pray to the Lord.
  • For the repose of the souls of the two children killed on Wednesday at Annunciation
  • Catholic Church in Richfield. We also pray for the entire Annunciation community and
  • all affected by Wednesday morning’s devastating violence, we pray to the Lord.
  • For all who struggle with mental illness, deep inner turmoil, or marginalization, that they may find compassionate care, hope, and support, we pray to the Lord.
  • For the grace to grow in inclusivity: that we may see the gifts of those who differ from us, and embrace these gifts in the life and mission of our Church, we pray to the Lord.
  • For those who are ill and have asked for our prayers, [especially Brian Keegan. May they find comfort in the healing touch of God and by the loving care of family and friends. We pray to the Lord:
