Prayers of the Faithful – February 14 & 15, 2026
Presider:
Trusting in God’s wisdom, which calls us to freedom, integrity, and life, let us bring our prayers before the Lord.
Reader:
- For the Church, that we may witness not only through right teaching but through transformed hearts and lives, we pray to the Lord.
- For leaders of nations and communities, that they may choose justice, truth, and reconciliation over power and division, we pray to the Lord.
- For our parish community, that our “yes” to God may be clear, consistent, and rooted in love rather than fear, we pray to the Lord.
- For those struggling with integrity in their personal choices—of speech, fidelity, or honesty—that God’s Spirit may guide them toward life-giving decisions, we pray to the Lord.
- For those who are ill and have asked for our prayers, especially: Mike and Theresa Bergwall, Pamela Windfield, Althea Bardon, Andrew Leair and Matthew Heywood. May they find comfort in the healing touch of God and by the loving care of family and friends, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those who have died, that they may be forever held in the loving arms of God. we pray to the Lord.
