Presider:

Heeding Jesus’ call to repentance, we humbly voice our petitions, trusting in God’s never-ending mercy.

Lector:

  • For the Church: that the wisdom of God may enlighten our words and actions so that our deepest identity as children of God may be manifest, we pray:
  • For all impacted by the invasion of Ukraine, may God welcome the souls of those killed, protect the homes and families of those trying to survive, and help bring a peaceful and just conclusion to this incursion…we pray:
  • For freedom from self-deception: that God will heal our narrowness of mind and blindness to the truth proclaimed in the Gospel, we pray:
  • For a re-centering of our lives during the coming Lenten season: that God’s grace will guide us to love God more fully and to love our neighbors as we do ourselves, we pray:
  • For our RCIA Candidates, Catechumens as well as those receiving the sacrament of Baptism this weekend, may the Holy Spirit continue to accompany them on their faith journey, we pray:
  • We pray for those who are ill and have asked for our prayers, especially Jerry Simondet, Ron Brixius, Tom Moga, son-in-law of John and Lorraine Czek and Elle Muchow, granddaughter of Darlene Ivy …we pray:
  • We pray for our Beloved Dead: Leslie WachendorfTom Diger, and Loretta Hauer, as well as for those who have died more recently, especially Mary Del Medico, and Sue Flynn, Mother of Theresa Lummis. May all who have died find joy in the resurrection…we pray:

Presider:

Gracious God, all that we have is a gift from you. May we tend and cultivate these gifts so they might bear fruit for the glory of your name. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
