For the grace of discernment: that we may understand the signs of the times and recognize God’s presence, action and invitation each day, we pray:

For the gift of hope: that no matter what challenges we face, we may remain confident that with God all things are possible, we pray:

For those who are looking for life’s most basic needs as a sign of God’s presence, we pray:

For those who are looking for healing for themselves or others as a sign of God’s presence, including, Jacob LaMott. May all who suffer be healed by God’s loving touch and by the prayers of this community, we pray:

For those who have died, and for those who mourn the death of a loved one. May they be comforted by God’s unending love, we pray:

Presider:

God of promise, keep us alert to the signs of your presence in our midst. Help us to be hopeful and patient, especially in times of discouragement or chaos. Let us be signs for others who also wait. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
