Prayers of the Faithful – June 20 & 21, 2026
Presider:
Trusting in God’s faithful care for all people, and confident that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ, let us offer our prayers for the Church, the world, and all those in need.
Lector:
- For the Church throughout the world: that Christians may boldly proclaim the Gospel and bear witness to Christ with courage, compassion, and joy, we pray to the Lord:
- For leaders of nations and communities: that they may work to protect the dignity of every person and foster peace, justice, and reconciliation among peoples, we pray to the Lord:
- For those who live with fear, anxiety, loneliness, or uncertainty: that they may find strength in God’s presence and comfort in the support of others, we pray to the Lord:
- For fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, godfathers, and all who exercise a fatherly role: that they may be blessed with wisdom, patience, and generous hearts as they guide and care for those entrusted to them, we pray to the Lord:
- For those who are ill and have asked for our prayers, including: Dan Hindes, Pat Turner, Barb Hosek, and Kathy Krzyzanaik, that all who suffer be healed by God’s loving touch and by the prayers of this community, we pray to the Lord.
- For those who have died, that they may rejoice forever in the presence of the Lord, we pray to the Lord.
Presider:
Loving God, you know us completely and hold us always in your care. Hear the prayers we place before you today and grant what we need to live as faithful disciples of your Son, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
