Prayers of the Faithful – November 15 & 16, 2025
Presider:
In a world unsettled by conflict, division, and uncertainty, Christ reminds us to persevere in faith. Trusting in God’s promise that endures through every age, we bring our prayers before the Lord.
Lector:
- For the Church: that we may remain steadfast in faith when the world feels unstable, trusting in God’s enduring promise of peace, we pray to the Lord:
- For leaders and public servants: that integrity, wisdom, and compassion guide their decisions for the good of all people, we pray to the Lord:
- For nations torn by violence, hatred, or division: that the light of Christ bring healing where fear has taken root, we pray to the Lord:
- For those who are weary, anxious, or overwhelmed: that perseverance in faith may renew their strength and restore their peace, we pray to the Lord:
- For those who are ill and have asked for our prayers, especially: Laurie Mosier, Shirley Selisker, Barbara Teff, Declan Graphenteen, and Amanda, Nathan, Samantha, Randy and Micah Hufnagle. May they find comfort in the healing touch of God and by the loving care of family and friends. We pray to the Lord.
- For those who have died, that they may rejoice forever in God’s eternal home. We pray to the Lord.
Presider:
Faithful God, you have guided your people through fear, conflict, and uncertainty across the ages. Hear our prayers and strengthen us to persevere in faith, that we may find peace in your unshakable love, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
