Prayers of the Faithful – October 26 & 27, 2024
Presider:
Trusting in God’s mercy and care, let us bring our prayers before Him.
Lector:
- For the Church, that we may always be a source of light and hope, leading others to Christ’s healing and love, we pray to the Lord.:
- For all who live in darkness and despair, that they may find the courage to call out to Jesus and be touched by His healing presence, we pray to the Lord:
- For those who suffer from physical, emotional, or spiritual blindness, that they may experience Christ’s transforming power in their lives, we pray to the Lord:
- For leaders and those in positions of power, that they may act with compassion and work to bring justice and dignity to all people, we pray to the Lord:
- For our community, that we may support one another in times of difficulty and joy, fostering a spirit of unity and love, we pray to the Lord.:
- For those who are ill and have asked for our prayers, including Jonathon Ordahl, Marv Burns, John Czech, Paul Zierdan, Donna Kuhn and Diane Sparrow. May all who suffer be healed by God’s loving touch and by the prayers of this community, we pray to the Lord:
- For our Beloved Dead, including Bonnie Burczyk, Jacob LaMott, Robert Sanders, and Luann Phillipich. We also pray for those who have died more recently, especially Peggy Ritter, mother of Theresa Utecht, that they may rest in the eternal peace of Christ, we pray to the Lord:
Presider:
Gracious God, You hear the cries of those in need. Open our hearts and eyes to see Your presence in our lives and answer these prayers according to Your will, through Christ our Lord.
